COMMENTS FROM PRIOR STUDENTS – Ages 9 and 10
"Dear Mr. Mamadou,
My name is Gavin. I am 10 years old. you did an African dance called N'Goron. It's about young girls turning into adults and men being strong. You have to have pride in yourself to do this dance. I really loved this dance. The dance steps you showed me were really cool. I think this dance was the best out of all of them. I loved working with you. The most I loved is doing my first African dance. The message of the dance is saying that you must have discipline and respect yourself.
Gavin Alladyce, PS 198 Brooklyn, NY
